Out of School Club
The Out of School Club is very popular here at Welton Primary School.
It is the Out of School Club's aim to offer a wide variety of activities to encourage child development and play opportunities. We also understand that when the children attend the Club it is their leisure time and therefore we promote freedom of choice. This is gained by involving the children as much as possible in the planning of activities and when choosing new equipment.
Activities
We offer an extensive range of activities, both indoor and outdoor. The children enjoy spending some time outside, weather permitting, either playing on the adventure trail, taking part in team games or other activities.
Indoor activities take place in the large school hall and other rooms in the school. Partitioned areas give a warm and welcoming feel. There is always a cosy relaxation area for those children who just want to chill out at the end of the day.
For the more active children there is a wide range of equipment available. Some of the most popular being the pool table, dressing up clothes, K'Nex, table football, Lego, table tennis, board games and many, many more.
We get lovely feedback from our parents who use the club:-
"A big thank you to Mrs Brown and her team at out of school club. They do a fantastic job and always have plenty on offer to entertain the kids and keep them busy. My child has been really happy using it and this is a huge relief to working parents knowing the kids are having fun and well looked after."
