Creative Context
"Creative Context” is a very important and special part of the school. The children of Welton are grouped into mixed aged groups with children from the Foundation classes to Year 6 working together on aspects of the wider curriculum. During these sessions the staff ensure the Welton Vision is visible, children are building WILS (Welton Independent Learning Skills) and Welton’s Expectations are consistent demonstrated. This is also a perfect time to further reinforce the principles of Welton’s Policy to Promote Positive Attitudes to Learning.
Please see below the Creative Context timetable for the rest of the academic year 2024 - 2025.
The timetable details when sessions are taking place, the name of the session (including whether it is inside or outside) and which groups are taking part.
It also details the names of the Creative Context groups. Please check your child’s account on Arbor to see which creative context group they are in; it is listed under ‘House’ when viewing Arbor on a PC.
Please see the screenshot also below which shows you how to find your child’s house on the Arbor App.
Please see the attached document for guidance on outdoor activities.
